While most of the albums and music that I have covered on this blog so far have leaned more towards rap and throwback music, there is no denying that I am a huge fan of Adele. Ever since her 21 album came out in 2011, and multiple tracks reached the top of the charts, me and my mom have loved listening to her music. We fell in love with her emotional lyrics, blues and soul inspired vocals, and dramatic instrumentals. Any song from Adele is truly a masterpiece, and a great break from the regular music that you hear on top hits radio. Choosing a favorite album from her so far was a difficult for me, but the album for which truly has no skips has to be 25. While 21 is truly a classic, and has some of her biggest hits, and 30 is a more mature version which has Adele explore different types of music, I can confidently say that I have listened to and enjoyed 25 the most out of all of her productions, including her 19 album. In addition to this, the album helped me through a pretty difficult time in my life, as most music has, which may be why I hold it higher then a few of her other productions.
25 came out in 2015, which is crazy to me because I feel like it was just yesterday that we couldn't escape her single 'Hello'. The album consists of 11 tracks, that are all amazing. I have listened to this album many of times all the way through, without getting bored. It is the perfect length, and has the perfect mix of sounds, and heavy hitting songs. However, there are a few tracks that do stand out for me, which are highlighted below:
While it is hard for me to pick a favorite from this album, this is definitely one of the stand out tracks for me. The vocals from Adele are amazing as always, and the message in the song is very emotional, and tells a story, which is some of my favorite lyricism on songs. It is one of the most popular tracks from the album, so there is really no surprise it ranks as one of my favorite as well.
